Common use

Heximar Ointment is prescribed for skin infections caused by fungi or bacteria, such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, eczema with secondary infection, or dermatitis. It combines antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties to help heal affected areas and relieve itching, redness, and irritation.

Dosage and direction

Apply a thin layer of Heximar Ointment to the affected area 1–3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Wash hands before and after application. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Precautions

Inform your doctor if you have sensitive skin, open wounds, or known allergies to any components of the ointment. Discontinue use if severe irritation, rash, or swelling occurs.

Contraindications

Do not use Heximar Ointment if allergic to any of its ingredients, including antifungal, antibacterial, or corticosteroid components.

Possible side effect

Common side effects may include mild skin irritation, burning, or itching at the application site. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or redness may occur. Seek medical attention if severe symptoms appear.

Drug interaction

Missed dose

If a dose is missed, apply it as soon as you remember. Continue with the regular dosing schedule.

Overdose

Overdose is unlikely with topical application but excessive use may increase the risk of skin irritation. Seek medical advice if severe symptoms occur.

Storage

Store Heximar Ointment at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
